Art is taken throughout the school as part of the curriculum. The pupils experience using a variety of media in different forms of 2D and 3D art. Visits to art galleries and looking at works of art are used to compare different styles. Accredited courses are now being offered in Key Stages 4.
Additionally it is taught to supplement and support the teaching of other subjects in cross curricular activities. The school uses a scheme of work which ensures coverage of a wide range of skills and experiences.
Spilsby is a small market town in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The catchment area is around the north of Boston to the south of Louth, including Skegness, Coningsby, Alford, and Horncastle districts.
The school is a single storey building in very pleasant grounds, including a sensory garden, nature garden and
play areas.
