History at Eresby School is taken from the National Curriculum.
Generally, modules follow chronologically from Romans, Vikings and Tudors in Key stage 2 to studying the 2nd world war and, ‘scientific discoveries that have changed the world,’ in Key stage 3.
Key stage 1 pupils look at carefully chosen modules such as, ‘Toys from the past,’ and make a comparison with modern day toys.
Spilsby is a small market town in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The catchment area is around the north of Boston to the south of Louth, including Skegness, Coningsby, Alford, and Horncastle districts.
The school is a single storey building in very pleasant grounds, including a sensory garden, nature garden and
play areas.
The first in the country to achieve specialist school status in cognition and learning.
