Music Curriculum
All pupils from the Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3 are involved in the music curriculum, they have a wide range of musical experiences through an active involvement performing and composing, listening and appraising which is linked to the Music Express complete scheme.
Music is used in conjunction with other areas of the curriculum. Many aspects of our musical activities are transferable skills and assist with eg social skills, self discipline and listening skills.
It also encourages pupils to communicate through individual interaction activities.
We have some outside agencies who perform for us and do workshops to enhance the students enjoyment.
