At Eresby School, we follow the Lincolnshire agreed syllabus (SACRE )
From key stage 1 to key stage 4, pupils will look at all religions and make a comparison with Christianity.
Much of the curriculum can be covered by stories from the Bible, Torah and Qur’an for example and supplemented with visits to churches, and other places of worship. Pupils learn about the lives of Jesus, Mohammed and the Buddha for example.
Pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties are included and we use sensory work and communication aids and makaton signing to record an encounter through to a growing awareness.
