Friday 14 February 2025 Valentines Disco The school PTA, Friends of Eresby School organised a Valentines Disco for the students. Students were invited to wear non-uniform for the day in exchange for a chocolate donation for the Easter Bingo. A good time was had by all.

Saturday 8 February 2025 Spilsby Light Night Students took part in a workshop to make light up bees for the procession for the Spilsby Night Light. The event was well attended by students, staff and families, thank you for your support in the community.

Thursday 30 January 2025 Internet Safety 2025 Jan Morris joined classes for the day to support students in using the internet safely. She shared videos and interactive sessions for each class to help students have a better understanding and who can help them to stay safe.

Thursday 23 January 2025 Lincolnshire Aviation Centre Visit Students from Pine class visited the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre at East Kirkby to learn more about the local area's involvement in the war. They saw the Lancaster Bomber, the Mosquito, B25 Mitchell and Hampden aircrafts as well as the Control Tower, Home Front and Memorial Chapel. Cedar and Poplar classes will be visiting later this year.

Tuesday 21 January 2025 Football Fixture The school football team had a fixture against St Lawrence's from Horncastle. Both schools showed amazing sportsmanship and St Lawrence's won 5-3. More matched will be organised in the future.

Tuesday 7 January 2025 National Youth Orchestra Performance Students attended a concert performed by the National Youth Orchestra at the Albert Hall in Nottingham. It was a fantastic interactive experience in a new venue organised by the Trust.

Tuesday 17 December 2024 Door Decorating Competition is hotting up between the classes as they reveal their decorated doors for Christmas. Governors will be judging later this week. Good Luck!

Friday 13 December 2024 Change4Life Event Key stage 2 students attended the Change4Life event at Skegness Grammar School organised by Callum. The group worked with other local schools in various sports such as indoor hockey, seated beach ball and rat and rabbit game.

Thursday 12 December 2024 Santa's Grotto visit Primary pupils were invited to visit All Wrapped Up Cafe in Spilsby for craft activities and to meet Santa in his Grotto. Thank you for having us and everyone had a magical time.

Tuesday 10 December 2024 The Grinch Parents were invited to see the production of the Grinch in school by the students. The cast were amazing and both shows were really well supported by families, thank you.

Saturday 7 December 2024 Cracker Day 2024 Students from Oak Class had a stall at the Christmas Cracker event in Spilsby. They were allocated a prime location to sell their creations from the Enterprise Group. They raised over £500, well done!

Thursday 5 December 2024 Sensory Bus Visit Willow class enjoyed their first school trip with a visit to Willow Farm and the sensory bus. A great time was had by all.

Tuesday 3 December 2024 Tesco donation Thank you to Tesco's in Boston for the generous donation of presents for Willow class and for the hamper for staff. We really appreciate the gifts.

Tuesday 3 December 2024 Annual Rowing Cup Students attended the annual rowing cup organised by the Trust Secondary Sports Team. The students competed against representatives from other Trust school and medals were awarded for those taking part.

Thursday 28 November 2024 Playground Leaders Callum came to school present the Playground Leaders with their awards and caps for completing their training. The Leaders support the students in school to engage in play and games during the break times.

Monday 25 November 2024 Cherry Class Outing Cherry Class went on their first outing as a whole class to Woodthorpe Garden Centre to see the Christmas displays and have lunch in the cafe. The displays were amazing and the bus was filled with lights and decorations for the winter wonderland back in school. They were treated to an unexpected visit from Santa and Mrs Claus at lunchtime.

Friday 15 November 2024 Children In Need 2024 Students had a non-uniform day to raise funds for Children In Need and took part in a disco and outdoor sporting activities. All funds raised were donated to the charity.

Thursday 14 November 2024 Enterprise Partnership Oak Class Enterprise Group have teamed up with a local cafe in Spilsby, All Wrapped Up. They have a display cabinet for all their creations to sell to the public and raise funds for the group. Thank you to the community for continuing to support the school.

Sunday 10 November 2024 Poppy Display The students have created poppies for display around Spilsby for Remembrance Sunday. The display for the school was in the Cooperative Pharmacy.

Friday 8 November 2024 Playground Leader Training Callum came to school to support the older students with training as Playground Leaders. The students really enjoyed the session and can now put it into practice.

Friday 8 November 2024 Gunby Hall Post 14 students started their enrichment activities with the rangers from Gunby Hall. They will be working with them each week and helping to develop ideas to use int he enterprise group activities. Thank you to Gunby Hall for your continued support of the school.

Thursday 7 November 2024 Beauty and the Beast 2024 M and M Productions visited school and performed Beauty and the Beast for the students. The performance interactive and everyone had great fun.

Monday 4 November 2024 New outdoor equipment Finally we have completed the installation of the new outdoor play equipment. We now have a trim trail, an enormous pirate ship and climbing frame and slide for Willow Class. Students have enjoyed trying them out for the first time.

Thursday 31 October 2024 Halloween Disco Our first Halloween Disco was an amazing success! Fantastic costumes from students and staff and some fantastic dance moves.

Friday 18 October 2024 Harvest Festival Donations Thank you for the donations from families and staff of food items for the harvest festival. All donations were taken to the Christian Fellowship in Spilsby to support the community.

Thursday 10 October 2024 Meridian Leisure Centre Magna Vitae invited students from Birch class to experience the running of a leisure centre in Louth. They had a look at all the facilities and the roles of individual employees followed by a visit to the cafe.

Tuesday 8 October 2024 Royal Opera House Ballet Students were offered the opportunity to go to the Royal Opera House in London as part of the Trust enrichment program. The performance of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was magical. On the journey in we were taken down the side of the River Thames and saw the London Eye and Big Ben. We had a really long day but it was such an experience.

Thursday 26 September 2024 MacMillan Coffee Afternoon Oak class welcomed parents and staff to the annual MacMillan coffee afternoon at their cafe. Thank you for the donations of cakes and all funds raised go to the charity.

Tuesday 24 September 2024 Safelincs Visit Safelincs visited Pine and Cedar class as part of the careers offer in school. Students were able to take part in a workshop of picking and packing of items to prepare for dispatch.

Monday 23 September 2024 Birch Class - County Care Visit Members of Birch Class went to the County Care Day Centre to explore opportunities for their next steps. Students had a tour of the facility and accessed the cafe.
