Reading Afternoon

Parents were invited to attend a discussion on reading.  The importance of reading was highlighted and we explained how it is delivered in school and how we teach phonics at Eresby.  Parents were shown how to turn any book into a sensory book to make it more interactive for the pupils and tips were given on how to promote reading at home.  It was great to see many of our parents attend.
